A gift in your Will can bring together rural women from all over the world, and address the challenges they face as a result of isolation in their communities, discrimination, and lack of access to political processes.
ACWW works to improve the lives of rural women and their families through education, capacity building, and community development. We provide practical support to help our members set up sustainable, income-generating projects and expand access to education for women and girls. We also focus on eliminating gender-based discrimination and violence, and amplifying the voices of rural women on the global stage through our partnerships with UN agencies and policymakers.
Even a few % of your estate can create lasting change, offering support and dignity to those who need it most. Your legacy can help create a more equal world and transform the future for rural women.
Leaving a gift in your Will is simple, and there are a few types of gifts you can leave:
Leaving a gift in your Will is incredibly valuable to the work of ACWW. Your generosity empowers rural women by supporting grassroots projects focused on climate-smart agriculture, health, and education, directly addressing the priorities of rural women and their communities.
It strengthens knowledge sharing between Member Societies, connecting rural women around the world. Your gift helps ensure their voices are heard at the UN and other international platforms, influencing policies on land rights, education, food security, and gender equality.
If you have left a legacy or have any questions, we would love to hear from you. There is no pressure, and we always respect your privacy. Please contact Anna at anna@acww.org.uk to learn more.
