This International Day of Rural Women we are launching the World President's Appeal to strengthen our future and empower rural women globally. For almost 100 years, ACWW has been campaigning for rural women’s rights, bringing rural women together and supporting them in building stronger communities. Together, we have driven real change. Yet, there is still so much more to do. Will you stand with me, and ensure rural women are not left behind?
Could support our work in capacity building by strengthening knowledge sharing from, between, and in rural communities.
Could help fund our advocacy for rural women’s rights, including family farming, land rights, food security, inclusive education, and Indigenous languages.
From a society or a group of members could make a big difference to our work on climate-smart agriculture, rural women’s health, and education and community development.
As part of our World President's Appeal, we have launched our Rural Women in Action Pack available for pre-order. The pack includes unique recipe cards featuring global dishes and stories from ACWW members and projects, highlighting their impact, cultural significance, and tips for reducing food waste, along with posters and campaign materials. Sales from these products will contribute to our Rural Women in Action fund.
