ACWW at CSW69 - March 2025
The 69th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women
CSW is a unique event, the largest global conference and policy negotiation of Member States, women’s organisations, and other groups focused on women’s rights.
This year’s CSW69 was rather different from most years, as the focus was on reviewing and appraising the implementation of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, the document that outlines the strategic objectives and actions needed to address key areas of concern facing women worldwide.
This year, ACWW attended CSW69 in New York with a small delegation, joining the first week of review sessions of the 1995 Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action.
