Greetings dear Members of the Area and Friends,
Our Area continues to address the challenges we face with energy, compassion, and collective committment to progress. I am looking forward to welcoming you all to Nairobi in September 2025 where we will meet for the second time at the headquarters of the East Africa Women's League. We will publish more information in the coming weeks, and hope you will join us.

Conference Information & Registration
What to look forward to:
The East, West, and Central Africa Area Conference 2025 will be held at Weal House, on Bishops Road, Nairobi, 00100, Kenya. The Conference will run from 9am on Tuesday 9 September until 5pm on Thursday 11 September 2025.
The registration fee is $60 USD, which includes your conference registration, refreshments and lunches.
Registration will open in early July 2025, and closes on 31 August 2025. No late registration will be accepted.
Payment details will be confirmed shortly.
Reference should be ACWW Area Conference and your name.
Programme
The Area Conference will be chaired by the Area President, Clare Jethwa, and will be joined by ACWW World President Magdie de Kock. The programme for the Area Conference will include presentations from ACWW Board Members and Central Office, as well as reports from Member Societies across our Area.
We are pleased to confirm that we will be entertained by Ghetto Classics with anthems, and we will welcome senior representatives of the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation and UNESCO. Other speakers on the themes of food waste and insecurity, gender-based violence, and he importance of indigenous seed for community food security.
