A Message from your Area President

Greetings dear Members of the Area and Friends,

On behalf of the Board of ACWW and the Southern Africa Area Conference Organising Committee we would like to invite you to attend the Southern Africa Area Conference to be held 27th May to 29th May 2025 at Olifants River Lodge, near Middelburg, Mpumalanga.

The theme of the Conference is Sustainable Growth for the Future. Please join us for inspirational speakers, engaging conversation, knowledge sharing and demonstrations. It is also the opportunity to renew old friendships and create new ones.

I am looking forward to meet everyone at this Conference where we can enjoy this special event together!

What to look forward to:

The Southern Area Conference 2025 will be held at Olifant’s River Lodge near Middelburg, Mpumalanga from 12h30 27 May 2025 till 8h00 29 May 2025.

The registration fee is R1900 plus the accommodation fee of R2009 including all meals as well as a gala dinner.

Registration closes on 15 April 2025. No late registration will be accepted.

Reference should be ACWW Area Conference and your name.

Please bring along spare cash for the ACWW donation box as well as one article (self-made or by some else, like preserves, pickles or handicraft or needlework for no more than R100). These articles will be sold, and the money will be going to a symposium/podcast/Power point presentations on Women’s Health to be compiled and given to each organisation to be used before the end of the year and if there is any surplus for the Rural Women in Action fund.

Also remember your entrees for the Scarf competition (entry fee R100). It can be a completed scarf or an illustration on A3 paper.

The program will be posted on the ACWW website and circulated as soon as possible.
